I see my work as fun, illustrative fragments of happy emotions from those i see on a daily observation. My work hides nothing, you see them as it is. I usually plan out my works digitally as I want it to be precise and afterwards executed with a technique that is most commonly known as hard edged. Acrylic on canvas has always been my medium of choice however I am currently experimenting with found objects to see whether I can still instil the same emotion.
My works are arranged in a way that invites the viewer to smile and feel innocent in the space they are in. I rely on my past childhood memories, using bright playful colors to evoke those childlike memories. Utilising a certain iconic cast of characters that i have developed over the years, i inject them with my comic illustration style to various events often inspired by the observation of everyday life.
